How does PCH choose the matching winning number from a Special Early Look event?

During our “Special Early Look” timeframes, each entry submitted by the deadline is assigned a prize number from the participating universe of numbers eligible for the ongoing Giveaway.

To prepare for the Special Early Look drawing, we take all the proper internal controls. Once a winning number is randomly selected, we check to see if a matching number was timely returned.

If so, that lucky entrant would win the corresponding top prize from the Special Early Look event.

If the matching winning number is not timely returned PCH holds a second chance drawing to award an alternate base prize!
