How to scan a QR code?
Scanning these modern-day barcodes with your smartphone is quick and easy.
Most smartphones/ mobile phones have built-in QR scanners, which are sometimes built into the camera. Some older devices may require the user to download a QR app from the App Store or Google Play store.
Follow these easy steps for I Phone & Android users. Here’s how to scan a QR code with your iPhone or Android phone and what to do when you can’t scan them.
Step-by-Step to scan QR code on Apple devices
Step 1 -Ensure the "Scan QR codes' feature is enabled. Go to Settings > Camera and tap the slider next to Scan QR codes. It is on when green.
Step 2- Open the Camera app on your iPhone. Swipe down from the middle of your home screen and type “Camera” into the search bar at the top of your screen.
Step-3: Point your iPhone at the QR code to scan it. You don’t have to fill the entire screen, but make sure that you can see all three corners of the QR code in the app. Once you correctly scan the QR code, a pop-up banner will appear above it.

Step-by-Step to scan QR code on Android
If you’re running Android 8 or later, you can scan a QR code by opening the camera app or Google lens.
Step-1: Ensure the "QR code scanning' feature is enabled. Go to Settings > Camera and tap the slider next to QR Code Scanning. It is on when blue.
Or, go in the general settings on your Android to enable the Google Lens suggestions option
Step-2: Open the Camera app on your Android. Swipe down from the middle of your home screen and type “Camera” into the search bar at the top of your screen
Or, you might have to tap Modes (or More) in the bottom-right corner of the app and select Lens.
Step-3: Point your Android at the QR code to scan it. You don’t have to fill the entire screen, but make sure to place the QR code in the lines and tap the magnifying glass icon to scan it. Once you correctly scan the QR code, a pop-up banner will appear above
Or, you may open Lens by tapping and holding the QR code on your screen until you see a pop-up banner when it appears above the QR code.
Step-4: Finally, tap the pop-up banner or the QR icon in the bottom-right corner of the app. You will be immediately sent to the website, where you can take an action to get your entry.
