How do I enable JavaScript on my internet browser?
To enable JavaScript, please locate your internet browser below and follow the steps provided:
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge
- Click on the More menu (3 horizontal dots in the upper right hand corner)
- Click Settings
- Search for "javascript" in the search box
- The search box is in the upper left corner of the page
- Scroll down until JavaScript is located
- Edge may have JavaScript highlighted so that it stands out.
- Click on Javascript
- Switch the toggle for Allow (recommended) is on
- Close and reopen Edge
Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Type about:config into the address bar
- Press Enter
- NOTE: A Warning Page MAY appear. Click Accept The Risk & Continue to go to the about:config page
- Find the javascript.enabled preference, It should be set to True by default
- If javascript.enabled is set to false, click to set it back to true
- Close and re-open your browser.
Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the Menu button on the top right corner of the screen (it looks like three horizontal dots).
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy and security
- Select Site settings
- Select JavaScript under Content
- Select Sites can use Javascript
- Close and re-open your browser.
Safari:
- Open Safari.
- On the Safari menu, click on Preferences.
- Click on the Security icon.
- If it is not checked, click on Enable JavaScript next to the Web Content section.
- Close the Preferences window.
- Close and re-open your browser.
